A performance of stories by teenage muslim girls living in the UK.
In March 2016, BuSSy and Lyric Hammersmith Theater collaborated to create a storytelling platform for young Muslim women living in West London. Through this platform, the young women got the chance to share their stories and have their voices heard in spaces where they are traditionally not. Approximately 467 calls and 6,127 miles later, Is There Hair under There? premiered.
The performance depicted the lives of these young women and their experiences in London.
