The Dreams and Fears of Ten Women from Helwan

"The Dreams and Fears of Ten Women from Helwan” is a performance of personal stories and testimonies of 10 women from Helwan about social stigma and family pressure.

The performance is the outcome of a three-months storytelling workshop, that BuSSy organized, in collaboration with the Egyptian Association for Economic and Social Right EAESR, with 10 women from helwan. The women face social stigma because of their work to provide for their families, with no support of their husbands.
