According to the Law

Prosecutor:
“The law states that so long as she has not been grievously injured, then the report will read ‘physical assault of a woman.’”

Me:
“You mean to tell me if a woman has acid thrown on her in the street and her face is disfigured, then so long as her organs are still functioning, the charge will still be ‘physical assault of a woman?’”

Prosecutor:
“So long as the organs are still functioning, the record will not be permanent disability, and the charge of physical assault of a woman carries a fine.
There is nothing called violence against women.
There is nothing called domestic violence.
There is sharia here and we apply it to the law.”
