I was on campus.
I had just finished class and was leaving,
When a security guard grabbed me.
“We’re gathering good and respectable people!” he said.
Something felt wrong.
He took me and a few others to an office and locked us in.
“I don’t want any of them to leave,” he told the guard at the door.

Two minutes later he took me to his office and locked the door.
There was a girl inside with her father and all the people working on campus.
“Is that him?” he asked her.
I can’t forget the look in her eyes.
So sad and broken.
I understood.
If she said yes the entire office would beat me up.
But she said, “No, the other one was tall.”
