When I was in middle school, I went to a school in Al Mandara,
and there was a girls' school across the street from ours.
We used to finish school at the same time.
There was this passage that everyone had to walk through after school.
The boys would stand in two rows on either side of that passage facing each other.
A girl would pass, and if they decide to target her, they wait till she's halfway down the passage before enclosing her in a tight circle.
I never saw what happened to the girls, I only heard their screams.
I can never forget the day I saw a girl leaving the circle without her school shirt, and another girl whose skirt was ripped with razor blades, and I didn't do anything.
