I am a curly-haired girl.
Everyone calls my hair scraggly.
Everyone insists that I should straighten it,
But I don’t want to.
I recently went to an interview dressed up in formal clothes,
“Do something about your hair next time,” the interviewer told me.
I told her I won’t straighten it and that my hair had nothing to do with the job.
It was a very humiliating experience.
That’s why I refused to do a second interview.
